CACI International Tier 3 Operations Support in Reston, Virginia

Job Description

What You’ll Get to Do:

A fast-paced operations support environment focused on analyzing and troubleshooting user problems in an effort to resolve them in a timely manner.

This position requires strong experience working in a Tier 3 environment working directly with customers.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of Windows Server 2008 and 2012 – manage server availability

  • Experience with Windows Active Directory – creating and managing objects

  • Working knowledge of Failover Cluster Manager – what it is and what it does

  • Working knowledge of Exchange 2013 – configure and update client profiles, shared accounts, and distribution groups

  • Experience with Microsoft Office 2016 – running reports and creating metrics

  • Familiarization with Outlook 2016 – troubleshooting customer problems

  • Configure and update client profiles and accounts in Microsoft Exchange 2013

  • Familiarity with Microsoft System Center Operations Manager 2012 – manager server activity

  • Experience interacting with people either over the phone or in person to troubleshoot and resolve problems.

  • Ability to multitask urgent requirements in a short period of time

  • A strong work ethic with the ability to work independently with little to no supervision

  • Ability to provide technical and instructional computer administrative support to hundreds of customers on a weekly basis

  • In times of need, provide customer support outside normal work tour

  • Support rotating pager duty

  • Provide monthly metrics for work performed

  • Perform Operations & Maintenance (O&M) duties in a large server farm

  • Check server status (SCOM)

  • Check systems operational status

  • Perform daily checks of vital systems (daily health checks)

  • Strong working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and services, Windows Server 2008/2012 and Windows 7

Required Skills:

  • Windows Active Directory

  • Strong interpersonal and customer support skills

  • Strong troubleshooting skills

  • Previous close support skills

  • MS Office 2016

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) or other system monitoring tools

  • Failover Cluster Manager (FCM)

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • 10 Years of job related experience and High School/GED diploma

  • 8 Years of job related experience and Associate degree

  • 4-7 Years of job related experience and Bachelor’s degree

  • 3 Years of job related experience and Master’s degree

  • 2 Years of job related experience and Doctorate
