You would be responsible for providing problem resolution, supporting existing infrastructure services, and integrating new capabilities within the scope of the required skills. If you enjoy small teams and can work independently, and possess and aptitude for getting things done, this may be the job for you.
We are in need of a Mid-level engineer who will:
Engineer, support, and troubleshoot Windows 7 and 10 desktop operating systems, including establishing new build and deployment methods for Windows 10
Engineer, support, and troubleshoot Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy
Engineer, support, and troubleshoot McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator, including utilization for reporting, device control, and patching of antivirus engine and DAT files
Support, and troubleshoot Windows Exchange Server functionality to include mail routing, account configuration, distribution lists, and email restoration
Support, and troubleshoot Windows Server 2008 and 2012 technologies to include file, print, DNS, DFS, and DHCP and possess knowledge of integration of these capabilities within an Amazon Web Services environment
Perform application delivery and patching capabilities using a combination of Microsoft WSUS and Tanium products
Act as part of the team responsible for performing rekey, inventory, and general account management of the project’s cryptographic account
Review vulnerability information as reported by Nessus, WebInspect and AppDetective, and suggest appropriate mitigations, including test and validation of such changes
Support, and troubleshoot issues involving desktop applications including the Microsoft Office suite of products (including Outlook), classification management tools
Document all new changes introduced to the system, and keep existing documentation current
Will support other tier 1 and 2 personnel with general user issues including public key infrastructure, application assistance, network troubleshooting, and other user assistance items as needed
Engineering experience supporting a Windows platform environment with the following core Microsoft Windows platforms, services and tools:
Windows 7 and 10 Desktop Operating Systems
Windows 2008 and 2012 Server Operating Systems
DNS, DFS, and DHCP
Windows Server Update Services (WSUS)
Public Key Infrastructure; certificate issuance, certification authorities, and supporting and upgrading to SHA-2 and SHA-3 certificates
Supporting Amazon Web Services based infrastructure (leveraging virtual private clouds, availability zones, elastic cloud compute, security groups, and simple storage service)
Strong verbal communication and documentation skills
Strong troubleshooting skills
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Performing crypto rekey, key management services, and KG device (script) configuration
DOS (Disk Operating System) command line knowledge
Basic hardware knowledge including disk formatting and driver installation
Tanium Endpoint Security and Systems Management
McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (EPO)
Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit (ADK)
Windows Pre-Installation Environment (WinPE)
Microsoft Desktop Optimization Pack (MDOP)
