CACI International Windows Systems Engineer in Reston, Virginia

Job Description

What You’ll Get to Do:

you will be working on a small team and working with great people. You will need to understands radio frequencies and be familiar with software development tools, scripting and programming. Since we have moved to the Cloud you will need experience with Cloud.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Strong Engineering experience with the following core platforms/services

  • Server 2008 R2 and 2012 R2

  • Windows 7 and 10

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux

  • Apache Tomcat

  • ActivePerl

  • PuTTY

  • DNS, DFS, and DHCP

  • Active Directory (including software deployment) and Administer Group Policy

  • Experience with Server and Software upgrades, role migration and migrating servers across domains

  • Experience with Amazon Cloud

  • An understanding of radio frequencies

  • An understanding of Satellite Communications

  • Strong verbal communication and documentation skills

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Tableau

  • MySQL

  • WSUS Server

  • Java

  • Installation and configuration of SSL Certs

  • McAfee Product Suite

  • Windows Failover Clustering

  • Spectrum band designators and bandwidths


Candidate must have one of the following:

  • 10 Years of job related experience and High School/GED diploma

  • 8 Years of job related experience and Associate degree

  • 4-7 Years of job related experience and Bachelor’s degree

  • 3 Years of job related experience and Master’s degree

  • 2 Years of job related experience and Doctorate
