Mastodon is currently seeking a talented Electrical/Computer Engineering student for 1-2 blocks. The co-op will support systems engineering efforts in in the design, simulation, prototyping, and testing of products and systems.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Setup and troubleshooting systems.

  • Data collection and analysis.

  • Identify and validate new products/accessories.

  • Analog and RF circuit simulation.

  • Testing and validating of digital, analog, power, and RF circuits using various test equipment:

  • RF signal generators, Spectrum analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Multi-meters, etc.

  • Data collection, and characterization of products and systems.

  • Troubleshooting and problem solving.

  • Writing test scripts in Python improving automation efforts.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in and in the pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in electrical or computer engineering from an accredited university.

  • Must be able to obtain a security clearance.

  • Ability to self-direct and manage individual projects.

  • Desired Education/Experience.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Excellent documentation, planning and organization skills.

  • Prior internship or related experience is a plus.

  • Third- or fourth-year student.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred, not required

Previous internship/co-op or other work experience, leadership and teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular)
