CACI's Mastodon Design team specializes in designing and building hardware and software to meet our customers’ next requirement. We focus on offering devices that can be fielded immediately to meet the mission needs that lie directly ahead. Size, weight, power, and packaging are of paramount importance in everything we design and build. Our expertise allows us to rapidly provide these solutions in specialized electronic/mechanical design, embedded & application-level software, reverse engineering & protocol analysis, and RF signals exploitation and communications systems.
We are currently seeking a UI software engineer with a desire to work with Android platforms that communicate to embedded devices to improve customer experiences. Ideal candidates will have a BS in Engineering.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Programming experience in Java and Python
Experience/knowledge of networking protocols such as HTTP, Samba and/or ZMQ
Ability to work with embedded software engineers and electrical/hardware engineers to produce integrated products and solutions
Ability to capture input from customers or ex-customers to design a UI feature to meet their needs
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Relevant intern / co-op experience
Experience with Kotlin
Knowledge and experience with communications protocols to include USB, Bluetooth and various wired and wireless networking protocols and infrastructure
Implementation of security features and encryption on embedded devices and over communications channels
Linux environment development on ARMs, Zynq, and Texas Instruments platforms
UI development experience
