CACI has an exciting and challenging opportunity supporting the Defense Health Agency (DHA) by providing enterprise information technology (IT) services using industry best practices to support a large, global healthcare organization. What You’ll Get to Do:

Serves as the Continual Improvement Manager establishing goals and plans that meet program objectives. Utilizing domain and expert technical knowledge, the Continual Improvement Manager provides technical management for large scale enterprise operational environment. The Continual Improvement Manager has overall responsibility for some technical, administrative, contractual, and personnel aspects of the program. He/She will be responsible for the following:

  • Develops strategic goals and implements strategic initiatives in support of goals

  • Establishes or works to implement key elements of tactical and operational plans with measurable contribution towards the achievement of results of the sub-function or completion of a project.

  • Makes significant decisions on what their team of responsibility focuses on or executes as directed.

  • Develops and implements new products, processes, standards, or operational plans that will have an impact on the achievement of functional results

  • The Continual Improvement Manager interactions are supported by his/her corporate executives to make sure that the program provides on-time delivery of top-quality services.

More About the Role:

The Continuous Improvement Manager is responsible for leading and driving process improvement activities throughout the operation. As a member of the plant leadership team the continuous improvement manager will lead and drive strategy deployment in support of military health operations and network infrastructure. The Continuous Improvement Manager will be compiling information into operational reports and lead meetings with other teams to drive operational improvements including the best optimization of costs, production volume and efficiency utilizing the appropriate lean tools. This position will lead the program's continuous improvement initiatives that are designed to eliminate waste and non-value added activities and improve performance in the five focus areas of Operational Excellence (Safety, Service, Quality, Cost, People) through the following:

  • Providing guidance and acting as a resource to Continuous Improvement teams on the selection and project management of Six Sigma, Focused Factory/Lean and General CSI projects.

  • Be a resource for and support program continuous improvement initiatives

  • Personally, lead projects for improvement results that can be leveraged across facilities, functions, processes, and teams

  • Influence design and development of strategic processes

  • Develop, implement, and govern KPI reporting for a portfolio of programs, providing visibility to the milestones and performance across all projects

  • Oversee process to ensure the Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and supporting Operating Level Agreements (OLAs) are published and met by support teams.

  • Work cross-functionally across teams to effect program-wide performance improvement with our internal and external partners by designing and implementing processes, metrics, and programs that enhance the end to end employee experience

  • Ensuring continuous improvement training, tools, best practices and resources are available to employees at all levels and are being utilized appropriately and effectively.

  • Involvement in the validation and long-term sustainability of the site continuous improvement projects.

  • Review and validate performance results achievement of continuous improvement projects.

  • Develop and implement post-project audit activities designed to monitor sustainability of performance improvement results over time

  • Work with both corporate and customer leadership to research, analyze, and implement enterprise-wide network security solutions/capabilities/enhancements to support customer business/mission goals and objectives.

  • Audit completed projects to verify sustained impact

  • Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information.

  • Provide client relationship management.

  • Provide project reporting and summaries for management.

  • Significantly improves on existing processes and practices.

  • Ability to communicate effectively and collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Review existing processes, provide gap analysis, and work to improve or establish new organizational processes.

  • Work closely with key managers and stakeholders to promote cross-functional communication and build support for organizational objectives.

  • Collect, record, and transcribe data in support of identifying the root cause in performance shortfalls and use process improvement techniques to drive quality.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Requires BA/BS with 10 years of relevant experience with at least 6 years of management level responsibility

  • An active Secret clearance

  • ITIL v3 or ITIL 4 foundation certification

  • 5+ years project/program management is required

  • 5+ years of experience leading project delivery for large, cross-functional projects

  • Experience using problem solving and analytical skills to solve business problems and drive process improvements

  • Excellent verbal and writing skills for non-technical and technical audiences

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver both strategic and tactical results across diverse cultures from inception to completion

  • Attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously

  • Demonstrated ability to work in ambiguous situations and across organizational boundaries

  • An ability to effectively develop key processes and procedures that facilitate efficient planning, reporting and change control processes

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Master's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field, and 12 years of prior relevant experience.

  • Knowledge of Health IT technology including Electronic Health Records.

  • Experience with service delivery, infrastructure, and operations

  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt.

  • ITIL Expert certification

  • ITIL Con+I10:I11tinued Service Improvement Certification

  • PMP certification
