CACI International Project Manager in San Antonio, Texas
CACI is seeking an experienced Project Manager for a mid-sized program within CACI’s Aerospace Solutions Group in San Antonio, TX. You will need to quickly accept responsibility for the scope, schedule and cost for one or more multi-faceted projects focused on aerospace electronics development and production. What You’ll Get to Do:
Address daily challenges that arise from operating in a highly matrixed, partially virtual organization. Challenges faced are frequently complex and require broad-based solutions that impact multiple areas of the organization.
Conduct briefings to mid-level leaders both within and outside of the program.
Responsible for communicating with parties external to the organization, which may include customers or vendors.
Work from the CACI San Antonio office, virtually, and from out-of-state customer locations.
Follow internal configuration management, ISO and AS9100 processes to optimize organizational efficiencies.
Direct efforts of cross-competency teams. Manages organizational resources to support multiple concurrent teams of engineers and production technicians.
Support proposal activity related to the program or project, including scope of work, performance work statements, work specifications, and budgets.

Manages the day-to-day operations of one or more projects to maximize value to both the customer and to the company
Communicates plans and execution status with the customer
Reports project status to the Program Manager and supports in leadership reviews
Manages and oversees subcontractor efforts in support of the contract and assigned projects
Manages acquisition and employment of project resources and control financial and administrative aspects of the project.
Demonstrates strong financial management background, with experience in managing firm fixed price projects
Develops schedules and budgets and calculates earned value.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
A Secret Clearance Must be Obtainable (US Citizen)
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or other related technical field
Project Management Professional (PMP®), or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification, or Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Program Management certification.
Seven years of experience in managing multiple functional areas concurrently for businesses providing products and services to DoD organizations, to include functional engineering management, quality programs, configuration management, and security and facilities.
Detail-oriented and capable of multi-tasking as required to support a range of recurring responsibilities
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Significant, relevant experience with AS-9100-certified programs
Experience with Microsoft Project
