Location Options:

What You’ll Get to Do :

  • Provide AWS expertise for standing up development/staging environments within IL6 OSA

  • PrototypeDCGS-N (Navy's Distributed Common Ground System) Development/Integration VPC in IL4/5 and IL6 OSA

  • Provides technical expertise to DCGS-N Cloud engineers and integration engineers including guidance and best practices

  • Provide integration expertise for various applications, including FADE, into CANES SW4 server

  • Prototype integration of DCGS-N applications into baseline

  • Provides architectural inputs to IPT for integrating applications into DCGS-N baseline

  • Provides architectural inputs to IPT for integrating DCGS-N baseline into DevSecOps environments

  • Generates and reviews technical documentation, including Software Integration Guide, Software Version Descriptions, and Software Product Specifications

  • Provide on-site installation support for events such as AI SIT and ship installs

  • Work is done on premises, but telework is possible in certain instances

You’ll Bring These Qualifications :

  • TS/SCI required

  • Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration (RedHat and CentOS).

  • Cloud infrastructure experience

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • DCGS-N technical experience

  • FADE technical experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent a minimum of 5 years of related experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.

  • Recognized subject matter expert in software development.

  • Experience with automation/configuration management using Ansible, Puppet, Chef or an equivalent.

  • A working understanding of scripting languages (Python, bash).

  • Experience with containerization and orchestration

  • Experience with git

  • Linux shell scripting

  • Experience with RPM package management

  • Identifying and resolving known security vulnerabilities

  • Network management experience

  • Configuration management experience

  • CANES SW4 experience

  • DOD

Desired Certifications:

  • Security + CISSP

  • A+ AWS Certifications

  • Linux OS Certifications
