CACI International SOF Combat Diving (SCD) Instructor in San Diego, California
CACI is seeking an Combat/Swimmer Diving Instructor in support of a NSW Training Detachment. Combat Swimmer/Diving Instructor support covers the administrative and instructional military diving tasks assigned to the NSW training command. In general, the task is to assist in the instruction, operational and logistical support for NSW Combat Swimmer/Diving Operations. Duties and responsibilities:
What You'll Get To Do:
Combat/Swimmer Diving Instructors teach current NSW diving curriculum/TTPs, which include classroom and field practical exercises
Additionally, Combat/Swimmer Diving Instructors provide logistical support to cadre and trainees during planning, classroom instruction, practical field training, final training exercises, troop movements, and perform as in-water instructors, as required
Assist in preparing the training sites prior to training evolutions
Provide specific instruction on the following categories: NSW open and closed-circuit diving systems operations, functionality, and use. Basic and complex navigational procedures. NSW weapons systems familiarity, functionality, and use
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
An active Top Secret, or higher US Security Clearance
Possess a minimum 5 years’ experience with exercise coordination, scenario and script development and execution
Preferred to have 5 years’ minimum experience as a Diving Supervisor or Combat Swimmer for Naval Special Warfare
The Naval Special Warfare level of diving instruction provides a different level of expertise amongst other programs in the DoD
Preferred to have an understanding and knowledge of the TTP 3-05 series SOF Combat Diving instruction of the Naval Special Warfare Publication
