What You’ll Get to Do:
Our team is looking for a talented Software Engineer to support a multi-disciplinary team providing integration, DevSecOps, and cloud-based expertise to the Real-Time Spectrum Operations (RTSO) program. The selected candidate will perform a variety of tasks supporting this Agile effort including: aiding in the development, integration, testing and deployment of the emerging RTSO v2.0 capability, developing DevSecOps tools and processes, and help develop cloud-based hosting environments within AWS.
As someone who thinks outside the box, you’ll enjoy designing and implementing solutions to interesting engineering problems. Using DevSecOps methodologies, you’ll identify constraints and employ creative solutions to break bottlenecks, improve processes, and create efficiencies.
Rather than performing repetitive manual tasks you’ll find ways to make automation do the heavy lifting. You will design and code automated tests and testing frameworks, test tools, CI infrastructure, automated deployments, and design scalable maintenance practices. Your experience with the Linux operating system, bash shell, and scripting in languages such as Python will be indispensable assets.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Implement updates to ansible scripts for deploying and configuring RTSO into various host environments
Implement updates to ansible scripts for deployment of representative services within DevSecOps environments
Aides in maintenance of existing DevSecOps and AWS environments
Perform testing throughout development period to ensure acceptance criteria is met for tasks worked
Provide on-site installation support for events such as AI SIT, GAT, and LOEs
Perform code reviews for other RTSO software engineers
Provides inputs to technical documentation such as SDDs, Install, and Test Plans
Automate environment deploymes into varied and complex environments – using virtual machines, container technology, cloud environments, and bare metal servers
Facilitate a smooth delivery of a robust and stable product by teaming with customers and vendors
You’ll Bring These Qualifications :
Typically requires bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and a minimum of 3 years of related work experience
Proficiency in interpreted scripting languages such as Python and Ansible
Experience with continuous integration services such as Jenkins
Must be very comfortable operating within Linux environments
US citizenship is require along with the ability to secure and retain a TS/SCI security clearance.

Compiled languages (Java, C++)
Off-the-shelf automation tools (Junit, Selenium)
Atlassian tools – Confluence, JIRA, Bitbucket
Relevant professional certifications such as Security+, CISSP, and Linux OS
