The first part is a tax-qualified profit-sharing retirement plan, to which CACI annually contributes up to 25% of your base salary (not in excess of applicable IRS limits) to your retirement account. You will work with a fast-paced, technically diverse team that develops and supports infrastructure for software-based signal processing applications. You will participate in full IT Systems Development Life Cycle with a focus on development, integration, and maintenance of new and existing Mission Systems. You will lead or support design and implementation of new capabilities to monitor, maintain, and support the mission such as Change/Baseline Management processes and tools, Health and Status monitoring and reporting, and contributing to the evolution of the enterprise. You will install and patch Enterprise Linux baselines, configure and manage diverse hardware, implement security hardening, troubleshoot operational issues, and create and maintain required documentation. You will interface with and support internal engineering and development teams.

More About the Role:

  • Design, develop, debug, and test of signal processing algorithms running on a variety of platforms supporting intelligence, defense, and other government missions

  • Design, develop, integrate, and test software and DSP applications

  • Help define the requirements, CONOPs and architecture for future systems

  • Use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks

  • Development of analytic signal processing tools

  • Some travel may be required (10%)

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • 5 years of related experience as a C++/DSP Software Engineer

  • A background in digital signal processing (DSP) and communication theory

  • Experience programming in either Python, Java, C++ or any object-oriented or functional language

  • Linux software development experience

  • TS/SCI clearance with polygraph

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering disciplines (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering) or 5 additional years of experience

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Security+ Certification or willing to obtain

  • Understanding of software defined radio systems: receiver architectures, software channelization, modulation/demodulation techniques, spectral analysis

  • Experience with X-Midas in the development of RF transmission and receiver systems or software defined radio

  • Experience with telemetry systems

  • Knowledge and experience of processing signals, including error correcting codes and digital video formats

  • Knowledge and experience with target tracking systems

  • Experience in design, development, or testing of weapons systems

  • Demonstrated proficiency in communicating technical and analytical information in written products

  • Exposure to all phases of software development lifecycle (concept, design, implementation, test and production)
