CACI is currently looking for an entry level System Engineers to join our team developing next generation signals intelligence (SIGINT) systems for the Department of Defense. What You’ll Get to Do :
As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for engaging in design, development, test, and delivery of our products in support of our advanced systems. You will be working within multi-disciplinary hardware, software, system integration, and data analysis/collection teams who are creating systems in support of the Department of Defense and other Intelligence Community agencies. You will translate customer requirements into technical requirements and specifications while coordinating our cross-functional development team to ensure we continue to deliver timely and impactful products to our customers, participating in field test events as necessary.
More About the Role:
You will be responsible for submitting purchase orders, tracking delivery schedules, performing factory acceptance testing of new hardware and software while learning the mission and growing into a key engineering role. You will get to be part of a team of fun and energized engineers working within a product family to field tactical SIGINT collection systems to the DoD.
Will be focused on software projects, CDRL delivery, and process improvement
Work with highly motivated technical teammates that will support and push you and will expect reciprocal action on your part.
You will be part of a team and culture of sharing information amongst teammates.
Responsible for the technical accuracy for specific customer programs
Required Skill:
US Citizenship is required along with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline (Engineering - Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, Software, Math, Physics) from an accredited University and one year hands on experience
Ability to work independently with little or no supervision as well as with other individuals on the team
Ability to present technical information to numerous stakeholders.
Excellent written and verbal skills to generate CDRLs for customer delivery.
Organized and detail oriented.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Prior experience in Systems Engineering Life Cycle Management from developing hardware and software requirements, design, integration, iterative process’ to testing, validation and quality assurance process’.
Experience with SDR (Software Defined Radios) and Spectrum Analyzers
Experience with RF software and hardware systems
Experience with Digital Signal Processing software and hardware.
Experience with SATCOM systems.
Basic Linux experience.
Model Based System Engineering experience
