The ideal candidate will support development of a large operational system from Aurora CO, Dulles VA, and Sarasota FL. You’ll focus on user outreach, engagement and testing that will be used to prototype and develop new capabilities as well as simplify and enhance existing applications. This opportunity offers very rewarding and unique benefits, which equates to 50% of compensation on TOP of your base salary! The first part is a tax-qualified profit-sharing retirement plan, to which CACI annually contributes up to 25% of your base salary (not in excess of applicable IRS limits) to your retirement account. The second component consists of an Individual Benefit Account (IBA), which is used for premiums, medical reimbursements, dependent care, education and Paid Time Off (PTO) policy. Both components of the benefit package are paid for by CACI, in addition to your base salary and potential performance bonuses. What You’ll Get to Do:

You will work with a talented team of mission engineers, UX, and software development to re-architect our presentation including new and improved user workflow, and assist in the design of new user capabilities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Meet with and observe users in their operational environments

  • Advise on product decisions through user research, customer development, and iterative feedback loops

  • Support the Discovery and Framing process and follow-on user interviews

  • Document user workflows

  • Contribute to the design system

  • Support presentation council activities


  • Active TS SCI w/ CI ploy Clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in experience design, industrial design, HCI, related field OR 5+ years of relevant work experience in UX, product design, or enterprise application fields


  • 5 years of relevant work experience in UX, product design or enterprise application fields or relevant customer-facing job role

  • User Centered Design (UCD) methods

  • Design and/or development of full-service applications

  • Design and product development processes

  • Early-stage design, ideation techniques, and research methods

  • Collaborating with a team of programmers with varying skillsets

Required Skills:

  • Experience in user-centered design, visual design, and usability best practices

  • Demonstrated experience creating prototypes of varying degrees of fidelity (e.g. paper prototype, wireframe, working prototype, interactive PowerPoint)

  • Demonstrated experience documenting user workflows

  • Excellent management, communication, and presentation skills

  • Ability to work individually and within a team to assist teammates meet commitments

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively

  • Must be able to travel up to 10% (travel may be required for this position).

Nice to Have's:

  • Ability to build mockups

  • Experience with HTML/CSS and Browser Developer Tools

  • Experience with front-end Java Script development

  • Experience in a rapid and iterative development environments

  • Understanding of agile and lean philosophies

  • Ability to discuss, present and defend designs and design decisions with cross-functional and non-technical audiences
