CACI International Cyber Security Engineer in Schofield Barracks, Hawaii

Job Description

Under limited direction, develop security plans, policies, and designs. Configure, install, test, and turnup designed solutions for production use in government networks.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage Risk Management Framework (RMF) process

  • Work with system development team to identify needed RMF artifacts and load them into the government’s EMASS system.

  • Develop security plans, policies, and designs.

  • Configure and implement security solutions based upon the customer’s performance criteria and specifications

  • Conduct systems pre-test and acceptance tests to validate the designed performance criteria

  • Structure mock designs based upon RFP specifications in support of the Bids & Proposal teams

  • Collaborate with government and /or subcontractors at customer site for security solution integration into existing infrastructure

  • Develop and perform technical presentations for customers

  • Serve as technical resource at customer briefings

  • Travel to other CACI Locations or Customer Sites as necessary

  • Requires full time residency in Hawaii to work at Army site for at least first year and then up to 75% travel including International for ongoing project assignments.

  • Understand and adhere to all CACI Ethical and Compliance policies

  • Proactively ensure a safe work environment and adhere to CACI EH&S policies and procedures

  • Perform other duties as required

  • Secret clearance required with ability to obtain Top Secret if necessary

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of risk assessment tools, technologies, and methods including EMASS system

  • Knowledge to support designing secure networks, systems, and application architectures

  • Knowledge to support planning, researching, and developing security policies, standards, and procedures

  • Ability to communicate network security issues to peers and customers

  • Knowledge to support designing and implementing Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) Multi-Site Connectivity Capability Package desired

  • Proficient in Microsoft software applications and other software applications as required, including Microsoft Sharepoint

  • Systems integration knowledge

  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills

  • Good oral and written communications skills

  • Experience in using drawing tools such as Microsoft Visio or AutoCAD is desired

  • Secret clearance required with ability to obtain Top Secret if necessary
