CACI seeks a talented Configuration Control and Data Manager to join our Advanced Solutions Group, within the National Security and Innovative Solutions Sector.
What you’ll Get To Do:
This individual is responsible for maintaining and updating repositories of documentation generated by multiple participants in complex, fast-moving, multi-project, operations and acquisition environment that supports the FROST program in the Office of Space Launch at the National Reconnaissance Office You will design, maintain, document in a and enhance the taxonomy by which this material is organized and document that taxonomy/process in Configuration Management Plan and Data Accession List processes. You will also ensure that this material is readily accessible to PMO members, responding quickly and effectively to requests for information, and making data accessible to end users.
CC/DM Team leader responsible for applying configuration and data management control disciplines to the design, development, and support of software, hardware, and other complex systems. Develops, analyzes and maintains tools that support and automate processes for establishing and maintaining consistency of a product's or solution's performance, functional, and technical attributes and its requirements, design, and technical specifications throughout its lifecycle. Develops standards, processes, and controls supporting product/solution configuration, data management, and release activities. Provides guidance and status to software developers, engineering staff, quality assurance, and configuration/release teams related to process and tool design alternatives, solution lifecycle processes, and compliance with established procedures for configuration/data management.
Applicant would be required to coordinate with numerous personnel including engineering staff, management, operators, and vendors. Experience with on-orbit satellite operations, booster launch events, and the AFSCN is desired. Other general areas of responsibility include:
More About the Role:
Establish and maintain the Data Management (DM) Plan and DM structure for the program; Coordinate deliverable and non-deliverable documentation schedules with the PM; Review DM schedules and budgets with the PM; Report DM status, results, and metrics.
Monitor and maintain the databases and restructure if needed, including confirming the validity of the data contained in the repositories.
Ensure database access and connectivity support by collaborating with end users.
Assist in the implementation of database maintenance and security procedures including adding and removing users, and administering quotas
Assist in defining database design and management standards and documenting new and existing systems and procedures.
Assist in the creation and maintaining of data repositories used to support Acquisition oversight functions. Collaborate with users to ensure that the data repositories meets their requirements.
Communicate to all users any updates to repositories.
Assist in the implementation of operating methods to improve processing, distribution, data flow, collection and database editing procedures.
Troubleshoot problems concerning records and communicate this information to users.
Assist in the creation of structures and standards for use and maintenance of the databases, including enabling information to be pulled through various reports, ability to organize data through various methods, sharing of communication links to users, availability of user friendly options, etc.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Must be a U.S. Citizen with a TS/SCI and eligible/willing to take CI polygraph
7 years CM/DM experience
Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field
Familiarity with satellite command and control systems
Demonstrated understanding of launch vehicle and satellite launch ascent, test, and on-orbit operational processes, practices, and procedures
Be a team player and work in a genuinely collaborative team environment
Highly responsible, team-oriented individual with a strong work ethic
Effective organizational skills with strong attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to establish effective working relationships with other Government agencies and mission partners
Desire to work in a fast paced, mission-focused environment
These Qualifications Would Be Nice To have:
Thorough knowledge of Government launch and on-orbit commanding policy and procedures as well as interface requirements.
Experience with Agile Management tools

Pay Range: The proposed salary range for this position is $64,600-$132,500. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
