CACI seeks a talented Test Engineer to join our Advanced Solutions Group, within the National Security and Innovative Solutions Sector.
What you’ll Get To Do:
This individual will lead a small 2-person testing Shop in the sustainment and modification of the NOPS LANCE and supporting networks enabling satellite commanding on-orbit and launch activities. Responsible for determining optimal approach to testing complex products or solutions in order to assure compliance with applicable specifications. This includes identifying and recommending product or solution characteristics that optimize their ability to be tested or to provide test data for diagnostic purposes. Combines customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledges technical, schedule and cost constraints. Develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for completing systems. Coordinates integrated testing activities. Reviews and evaluates test requirements to ensure completeness of test program. Performs technical analysis of complete systems and prepares comprehensive system level evaluations.
Applicant would be required to coordinate with numerous personnel including engineering staff, management, operators, and vendors. Experience with on-orbit satellite operations, booster launch events, and the AFSCN is desired. Other general areas of responsibility include:

Supporting Office of Space Launch NOPS mission, operations personnel, and infrastructure.
Maintain awareness of system requirements and extant challenges to identify areas of concern or improvement
Works with the enterprise to solve mission challenges with processes and technology including hardware, software, databases, operating systems, and networks.
Maintains systems operations, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility and maintenance
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Must be a U.S. Citizen with a TS/SCI and eligible/willing to take CI polygraph
7 years test engineering experience
Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate discipline
Be a team player and work in a genuinely collaborative team environment
Highly responsible, team-oriented individual with a strong work ethic
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to establish effective working relationships with other Government agencies and mission partners
Desire to work in a fast paced, mission-focused environment
These Qualifications Would Be Nice To have:
Thorough knowledge of Government launch and on-orbit commanding policy and procedures as well as interface requirements.
Experience with Agile Management tools

Pay Range: The proposed salary range for this position is $79,000-$161,900. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
