CACI International Biomedical Equipment Maintenance Technician 2- Scott AFB, IL in Scott Air Force Base, Illinois
CACI is seeking a Biomedical Maintenance Technician 2 (BMET) to join our team at Scott AFB, IL. This position seeks a self-starter with a strong work ethic, pays great attention to the details, and who can help our operations continue to run smoothly. You will have an important role in providing much needed support to our CACI mission as a BMET providing biomedical maintenance support. In this role, you will utilize standard and specialized electronic test equipment and tools to perform calibration, maintenance, and repairs of medical equipment, as well as, work with computer software programs for interfacing and calibrating various medical equipment. This effort is to support CACI’s position as an industry leader in supporting the operational and IT needs of the federal BMET community.
Responsible for inspecting, inventorying, maintaining, and repairing medical, environmental, and non-medical equipment for worldwide military support and disaster relief.
2 years’ experience in performing initial inspections, calibrations, diagnostics, general maintenance and repair of medical and general support equipment (medical package tools and equipment, i.e. generators and environmental control units) within Operating Expense and Maintenance (OEM) guidance.
Duties include using DMLSS (Work order/Inventory/Logistic software) to perform the preventive maintenance and repair on the equipment of the AFB Health Clinics and monitor and maintain repair part stock for the Biomed Repair Shop.
Maintains the technical literature library and test equipment inventory ensuring resources are up to date and accurate.
Complies with AFI 41-201, Managing Clinical Engineering Program; AFI 41-209, Medical Logistics Support; and DODI 6000.11 which governs Patient Movement.
High School Diploma or equivalent
Graduated from a DoD Biomedical Maintenance Course or an accredited civilian Biomedical Maintenance Course with at least 2 years of applicable BMET experience

Calibrate medical equipment according to manufacturers' technical literature, pertinent federal regulations, national standards, state and local laws, and Air Force guidance.
Experience in using and running transactions in the DMLSS system preferred but not required
Must be able to pass a favorable National Agency Check with Local Law and Credit (NACLC)
