CACI is seeking a Facility Manager to join our team at Scott AFB, IL. This position seeks a self-starter with a strong work ethic and possesses strong attention to detail skills that can help our operations continue to run smoothly. You will have an important role in providing much needed support to our CACI mission as a Facility Manager providing operational support pertaining to medical logistics. This effort supports the Air Mobility Command Surgeon (AMC/SG) contract which reinforces CACI’s position as an industry leader in supporting the operational needs of the federal medical logistics community.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Provide functional area subject matter expertise to AMC MEFPAK Facility Management initiatives and provides guidance to AMC/SG and the existing PMI Centers located at JB Andrews, MD; Scott AFB, IL; Dupo, IL; Travis AFB, CA; Kadena AB, Japan; and Yokota AB, Japan, and at any future PMI Centers when established.

  • Provides advice/assistance/work with planning, and implementation of environmental, health and safety policies; develop, for Government approval, procedures (chemical safety, ergonomics, illness and injury prevention, and building safety) used throughout the PMI program facilities. Ensure contracted activities comply with all regulations pertaining to environmental safety and facilitates with appropriate agencies.

  • Responsible for contribution to executing Government-prioritized project coordination for the minor construction of facilities and/or providing advice and counsel to the Government PMI Program Management Office on negotiating the leases of facilities, as well as providing analysis and input to senior management for the purposes of forming the daily maintenance and strategic direction of real property actions. Also responsible for submitting monthly Facility Assessment and Project Review Reports that covers all facilities, locations, status of facility maintenance work orders/minor military construction projects, and any outstanding actions, etc. that remains as a result of the assessment review.

  • Management of real property (e.g., offices, warehouses, etc.) and real property transactions (leasing), maintenance/sustainment (to include lease administration, utility, and other services), asset management, and financial analysis techniques to ensure sufficient occupant capacity while minimizing facility expenses and liabilities.

  • Significantly improves on existing processes and practices for efficiency and effectiveness, requires communication with executive leadership Organizational Impact, implements strategic initiatives in support of goals established by functional leadership.

  • Maintain standard methods and processes for facility life cycle maintenance/repair/facility upgrades/etc, collect and analyze data to develop plans, assess courses of action, and coordinate PMI Center facilities maintenance/repairs with affiliated agencies.

  • Serves as the consultant to all PMI Centers regarding Hazardous Material (HAZMAT) Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements and HAZMAT transportation requirements.

  • Communicates with parties within and outside of own job function, and typically has responsibilities for communicating with parties external to the organization, which may include customers or vendors. Works to influence others to accept job function’s view/practices and agree/accept new concepts, practices, and approaches. Requires ability to communicate with executive leadership regarding matters of significant importance to the organization. May conduct briefings with senior leaders within the job function.

  • Maximize facility utilization of space and occupancy and ensures alignment with HQ AMC/SG facility program and priorities. Coordinate with Government representatives REAL Property issues such as leases, utility services and other services and ensures all life cycle maintains and repairs are performed at all AMC MEFPAK PMI Centers to maximize the functionality and utility of these PMI Centers.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Abilty to obtain a DOD SECRET security clearance

  • 10 years of experience in a related career field and a MA/MS degree (12 years work experience may be substituted for a Master's Degree) OR 22 years of experience in a related career field

  • Hazardous Material (HAZMAT) Department of Transportation (DOT) training

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • 2 years Healthcare Engineering

  • 2 years AHA Certified Healthcare Facility Manager

  • 2 Years Project Management in Government Organizations

  • 6 years of specialized USAF healthcare Related experience
