CACI is looking for a Senior Operations Lead to support our customer, U.S. Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM), at Scott AFB Illinois.

This position is contingent upon award of the USTRANSCOM Command, Control, Communication & Cyber Systems Managed Information Technology Services (MITS), Enterprise support Managed services.

What You’ll Get to Do:

The successful candidate must be able to communicate clearly and succinctly both written and orally, and present products and ideas in a business-like manner. The candidate will be required to work in dynamic fast paced environments that require team interaction and coordination of efforts. The candidate must be experienced in interfacing with both client managers and system users.

Typical duties include:

The Operations Lead oversees and directs the day-to-day activities of EMITS contract, ensuring that systems, services, and infrastructure work reliably and securely. The Operations Lead is responsible for managing numerous technical teams that develop and implement networks and servers, respond to user help desk requests, and monitor system stability and performance. The Operations lead studies, designs, engineers, constructs, installs, and coordinates telecommunications equipment, systems, and facilities; and performs engineering studies involving equipment, applications, or theoretical analyses of such engineering methodologies.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Currently hold an adjudicated Top-Secret Clearance with SCI eligible and be able to maintain.

  • Professional certification that meets or exceeds DoD 8570.01. IAM II (CASP + CE or equivalent)

  • BA/BS + 07 years recent specialized experience providing overall enterprise-level network system administration, planning, and management or AA/AS + 12 years recent specialized experience providing overall enterprise-level network system administration, planning, and management experience environments.

These Qualifications are Desired:

  • ITIL v3 – Foundation

  • Adaptable to changing circumstances and operational needs.

  • Understanding of Department of Defense Military standards

  • Experience supervising system administrators.

  • Experience with leading projects and Project management skills.

  • Minimum of six years supporting a global IT architecture within the DoD.

  • Adaptable to changing circumstances and operational needs.
