CACI has an exciting and immediate opportunity for a Network/Systems Training and Curriculum Development Specialist to support the USAF Network Operations Security Center (NOSC). These positions work at the customer on-site Tier 3 support location at Shaw Air Force Base in South Carolina.
Shaw AFB is conveniently located. A 2-hour drive to the north gets you to Charlotte, NC, to the east is Myrtle Beach, and Charleston, SC is to the south. You’ll have access to big city excitement, a quiet beach walk or small town Southern hospitality.

More About the Role
In this role you will:
Develop lesson plans and associated educational material, classes, seminars, training aids, and training records. Translate/tailor provided training for NOSC use.
Train NOSC and deploying personnel on software and equipment used by the NOSC and at deployed locations (includes, but not limited to, Microsoft, Cisco, and Linux OS).
Teach reoccurring courses to NOSC personnel and other contractors.
Source a wide variety of training from Air Force and commercial training sites; and conduct and facilitate On-the-Job Training.
Develop new curricula to meet current and future training requirements from scratch.
Evaluate, analyze, and document critical work center tasks; develop work center training plans using Air Force training standards, instructions, and regulations; track and document employee training progression; certify employees’ ability to perform tasks.
Assess commercial training for integration in to NOSC training.
Manage the NOSC training facility and lab, including servers and student PCs to include setup and tear down for each class,
Maintain and update training materials.
Identify equipment and materials needed to meet training objectives. Maintain an automated scheduling database for the training lab. Schedule personnel for training.
Establish training programs to meet local knowledge and skill needs and to enhance professional awareness of the technologies used in the NOSC and at deployed Network Control Center locations.
Develop portable training materials for delivery over multiple media, including traditional classroom, web-based, and CD-ROM based training. Convert traditional training materials to web or CD-ROM media.
You will also be required to:
Provide oral and written briefs, presentations, and professional reports to Government senior leaders and decision makers.
Deploy/travel to OCONUS locations in the USCENTCOM AOR to support operations, projects, and training as required (up to 25%).
Travel to CONUS locations as required.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Ability to obtain an Interim Secret clearance prior to start date.
B.S. in related field, and 5 or more years’ relevant experience OR 7 or more years’ relevant experience
Relevant Experience
Possess experience and demonstrate an understanding with installation of Microsoft Windows Server in Host and Compute Environments, and Windows Server 2012 using server images; Experience with implementation of storage solutions, window containers, high availability, Domain Name Systems (DNS), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), network connectivity and remote access solutions, core and distributed network solutions, advance network infrastructure, and maintain and monitor server environments.
Possess experience and demonstrate an understanding with managing Microsoft users and permissions, creating active directory domain services (AD DS) forests, designing server infrastructure, troubleshooting networks, and protecting network and user data.
Familiarity with applicable/associated hardware for Sun, Cisco, ODS, and various x86 processor-based servers.
Firewall and Unix/Linux experience
DoD 8570 IAT II Baseline Certification (Security+ CE or equivalent).
Completion of additional Professional Certifications.
CCNP
VCTA
Trainer Certification (Microsoft, Cisco, or military equivalent)
UNIX/LINUX
ITIL Foundation within 60 days of start date
These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have
- Experience working in DoD, Air Force, and local base environments.
