CACI has an exciting and immediate opportunity for Vulnerability Management Analysts to support the USAF Network Operations Security Center (NOSC). This position works at the customer on-site Tier 3 support location at Shaw Air Force Base in South Carolina.
Shaw AFB is conveniently located. A 2-hour drive to the north gets you to Charlotte, NC, to the east is Myrtle Beach, and Charleston, SC is to the south. You’ll have access to big city excitement, a quiet beach walk or small town Southern hospitality, whatever you prefer.

More About the Role:
In this role you will:
Install, configure, maintain, and manage the USAFCENT/USCENTCOM security devices to include but is not limited to IDS/IPS, ArcSight Enterprise Security Manager, ACAS and associated Virtual Private Network (VPN) equipment/configurations; and assist in development and documentation of sensor processes and checklists.
Develop methods to detect and prevent intrusive activities utilizing knowledge.
Monitor network traffic to determine system vulnerabilities and required fixes.
Conduct network security monitoring Enterprise wide vulnerability scanning with ACAS.
Research for interpretation and verification of scan operations.
Perform Patching of Red Hat Linux / Nessus scanner application / Tenable Security Center application.
Provide reports and metrics during contingency operations and in support of named network defense/cybersecurity operations and exercises.
Review STIGs compliance for changes and implement.
Provide advanced traffic analysis.
Provide incident response and analysis. Develop methods to identify, contain, log, and analyze malware-based activities on USAFCENT networks.
Provide vulnerability analysis.
Support security device installation, configuration, management, and maintenance.
Manage and maintain control of network intrusion detection systems (IDS). Ensure end-to-end operations for network and information technology systems.
Provide intrusion detection.
Provide vulnerability assessments.
You will also be required to:
Provide on-call support via cell phone after hours, on weekends and holidays.
Deploy/travel to OCONUS locations in the USCENTCOM AOR to support sustainment operations, projects, and training as required (up to 25%).
Travel to CONUS locations as required.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Ability to obtain an Interim Secret clearance prior to start date.
Bachelor’s degree in related field and 5 or more years’ experience; OR 7 or more years’ of relevant experience
Firewall and ACAS experience
DoD 8570 CSSP-A Baseline Certification (CEH or equivalent)
Completion of additional Professional Certifications within 6 months of your start date to remain on the program. CACI will cover the cost of these certifications:
oMCSA or current equivalent
oNetwork+ CE or equivalent
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
- Experience working in DoD, Air Force, and local base environments
