What You’ll Get to Do:

CACI is seeking energetic and dedicated professionals to support The Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA’s) mission is to enforce the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic (FD&C) Act and other laws that are designed to regulate and protect consumers' health and safety. You will support the Office of Acquisitions and Grants Services (OAGS) which serves the Agency by initiating contracts, grants, inter-agency agreements (IAAs), cooperative agreements, and oversees the FDA’s Government Purchase Card Program.

You will manage contractor personnel and ensures the contractor provides quality acquisition support to FDA, its customers, and stakeholders. You will anticipate cost and schedule problems and works to resolve them. You will also develop task assignments for other project team members.

More About the Role:

As a Project Manager you will:

  • apply your talents to lead a project team, supervise and oversee assigned projects;

  • manage contractor personnel and ensures the contractor provides quality acquisition support to FDA, its customers, and stakeholders;

  • anticipate cost and schedule problems and works to resolve them;

  • develop task assignments for other project team members;

  • identify, communicate and resolve risks and performance issues; monitor projects and keep the customer and FDA management informed of project status on a regular basis;

  • meet with customer to determine project requirements;

  • prepare for acquisition support activities and for necessary support resources including project staffing requirements;

  • provide FDA administrative staff with all necessary project cost information;

  • reconcile all charges against the contract; schedule and conduct customer meetings; and

  • provide guidance, recommendations, status and updates on projects, attend meetings and respond to inquiries as needed.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Ten (10) years of experience in managing large and complex programs (i.e. IDIQ/BPA and task order requirements), of which five (5) years of experience is in managing the activities and staff for complex acquisition, financial, or business efforts;

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in technical, or business fields of study;

  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP); and

  • Experience in automated systems and software applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat, and teleconference applications.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Master’s degree (for more senior positions);

  • Experience with the Federal Government processes and requirement

  • Experience working with teams; and

  • Effective communication skill, both written and oral.
