The Office of Ventures and Innovation (OVI) seeks to foster early-stage, emerging capabilities deemed to have a high potential to positively impact the GEOINT mission by steering partnerships, pathways, and solutions to develop transformational GEOINT capabilities. OVI does this by; managing component acquisition activities, engaging with industry & academia, and enabling innovation through Lean Start-up methodologies.
CACI is seeking an Action Officer in the Office of Ventures and Innovation for an IC client mission. In this role, you will work with a dynamic team engaging regularly with customer stakeholders to identify and decompose high-level business needs into user stories (functional requirements), then clearly communicating those business needs with OVI to facilitate the delivery of internally developed, deployable projects.
You must be able to work independently with little supervision. Support outreach visit planning pre-coordination efforts and associated collaborative efforts to include development of DRAFT charts, agendas, and assist in defining the strategic communications message for OVI programs by maintaining gold copy and continuously updating charts based on user feedback.
What You’ll Get to Do:
Collaborate and provide professional judgment and expertise on behalf of or to the customer.
Participate or facilitate working groups and other decision-support activities as tasked
Prepare written, non-technical reports to management, indicating solutions or range of possible alternatives in rank of desirability and probability of success when there is no single solution
Elicit requirements using interviews, documents, storyboards, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, event lists, business analysis, and competitive product analysis.
Coordinate all logistics required to successfully execute Senior Executive board meetings/boards
Develop and implement OVI approved plans for conducting board decision in-progress reviews
Collaborate with stakeholders to include but not limited to the Innovation teams, senior directorate representatives, Programs of Record, Program Offices, and the Office of Corporate Communications
Develop written Criteria based on industry best practices for objectively evaluating innovation proposals throughout all phases of the innovation pipeline
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
Bachelor's degree or equivalent and at least 7 years of Intelligence Community or technical experience
Seasoned experience and accomplishments as an action officer
Have working knowledge of DoD PPBE or related resource management processes
Have project/program management experience
Work multiple tasks concurrently with minimal supervision.
Strong interpersonal and communications skills
Capable of multi-tasking and prioritizing tasks in a fast paced environment
Excellent and professional verbal and written communications skills
The ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
