The IO Incident Coordination Support, providing assistance in any area that requires immediate or special attention, to include performing lead functions, as required
Responsibilities
Assists Lead by ensuring that Shift Supervisors and EM activities fall within ITIL best practices, including updating documentation, recommending process improvements
Assures ecosystem process adherence to incident management guidelines
Leverages Enterprise Management tools and analytics to drive the team to correlate service impacts, service availability, service capability, Service Level Agreements (SLA) conformance, and other service-related trends
Assists with the preparation of Outage and Resolution Notifications for Severity Level Incidents, Advisory Notifications, Planned Outage Notifications, and updates to those outages
Conducts trend analysis and support analytical investigation as needed
Provides technical assistance, when requested, to the Customer in support of defined duties as needed
Provides coordination, data collection, and other support to the After Action Report process
Prepares daily network availability briefings, charts, and reports for the Customer to provide to Government leadership
Facilitates meetings, coordinate briefing materials with customer as needed
Proactively monitors high priority incidents limiting impacts to mission/Business/Enterprise critical services
Supports the preparation of daily status briefings, charts, and reports to for Government leadership, as needed
Assists with setting up conference bridges in support of Severity Level 1s and 2s and engaging appropriate resources
Archives Daily Operations Report and Shift Change Log (Day Shift)
Performs trend analysis reports, as requested
Provides day to day and Fill-in support for Shift Supervisor and EM staff as needed
Daily hands-on support within Shift Supervisor and EM roles to the Government by providing Situational Awareness of on-going incidents to identify any possible impacts to Network Operations Squadron managed and monitored systems
