What You’ll Get to Do:
As the Mission Lead you are responsible for evaluating the missions supported on the contract as well as evaluating current tasking, collection, processing and dissemination of data in support of mission objectives. You are always evaluating the mission CONOP, assessing the tools and applications and recommends innovations or enhancements to improve the efficiency and efficacy of the operations team. You will interface with shift operations to receive their feedback on performance of the system. Support the Government Operations Officers; these professionals are engaged in the full cycle of collection operations ranging from mission analysis, concept development, plan development, to supporting execution and finally assessments of mission success.
More About this Role:
You will be a Certified Operator and will have responsibility to fill in for the operations staff as required during absences.
You will interface with developers and, during the development and integration cycle for new capabilities, the will evaluate any new functionality and provide feedback during the development cycle.
Provide a certification to the site ops lead during readiness meetings to Transfer new capabilities to operations.
Interface with their counterparts in Colorado and on occasion travel to the other site for cross training
Interface with the trainers to ensure that training material reflects new capabilities or recommended changes to procedures. During training sessions, the Mission lead will assist the trainer in conducting the training
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Education: BS or equivalent years of mission related training
Experience: 5 years of operations experience in collection and processing of mission data in either SIGINT or special communications
Required Skills: Strong verbal communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Experienced at using and manipulating tailored SW applications.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
• Direct operations background in specific systems associated with this operation
• IC and/or DOD user experience
• Technical understanding of RF collection and processing
