What You’ll Get to Do:
As Mission Operations Lead on the SAFFIRE program, you will manage a distributed team of Operations Integrators, Data Engineers, Software Integrators, and Training specialists. This distributed team supports NGA analysts to ensure that they are empowered to accomplish their critical combat support missions. In this role, you will partner closely with program and government leadership, as well as our engineering teams, to focus on critical intelligence end-user priorities and track mission success.
*Specific Responsibilities: *
Manage a diverse team of operations integrators, data engineers, software integrators, and training specialists, including identifying tasks and objectives, hiring, and career and performance management
Work with government and program leadership to identify mission support priorities
Devise strategies and align staffing to provide mission support to various customer organizations
Identify and capture mission success stories
Apply lessons learned to overall mission support
Ensure training and communication to the workforce enhances the user’s ability to meet mission needs
Help identify mission impediments and opportunities for improvement
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Currently holds an active TS/SCI clearance preferably with a recent polygraph
7+ years GEOINT mission domain experience in the IC or DoD
A passion toward action on behalf of user needs through innovative mission solutions and user focused capabilities
BA or BS degree in a related area
Experience managing medium-sized (10+) teams in intelligence community
These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:
Experience as a Geospatial Analyst
Experience as a GEOINT Collection Manager
Experience with Structured Object Management (SOM), Flexible Content Management Services (FCMS) and Compute Vision (CV) tools, including WATCHMAN.
Experience coordinating with engineering teams
Ability to facilitate interagency collaboration
Advance degree in a related area
GPC Certification
Completed a military service MOS/AFSC/NOS granting Imagery Analysis course or the DoD equivalent
Experience briefing customers and users on mission results
