Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

CACI is currently looking to hire multiple individuals to join our growing Policy team. We are looking for individuals that have at least 2+ years of experience to SME level.

RESPONSIBILTIES:

  • Supports the development and implementation of strategic workforce planning, skills inventory planning, and strategic workforce alignment across the enterprise. Develops, manages, coordinates, and maintains all IT related NGA and NSG Policies that inform and enable NGA and NSG IT career management efforts, to include resolving associated issues and managing related business processes.

  • Supports preparation, production, and coordination of written policy artifacts and briefings for IC members, policymakers, and other major stakeholders. Reviews, comments on, and provide impact assessment on DoD/IC policies, processes, directives and guidance documents, as well as new NGA and NSG directives.

  • Accurately documents NGA and NSG's business processes to ensure both organizations are compliant with applicable law, Federal regulation, and relevant Executive Branch policy pertaining to IT Career Services.

  • Reviews, edits, and creates performance measurement standards, documents compliance, publishes and maintains archival records. Collects and tracks data required for the career development processes and Rank-In-Person processes.

  • Assists in developing and implementing the workforce strategies and plans to include mission requirements, composition, skills assessments, assignments, rotations, career development, promotion, certification, Entry on Duty (EOD) programs, succession management and Rank-In-Person programs.

  • Assists in establishing policies and standard operating procedures, and overseeing internal controls for compliance, and develops communications to educate the workforce on governance, services and product of the career service.

  • Assists in semi-annually reviewing and maintaining the Workforce Competency and Proficiency Level Repository; Assists in Developing and maintaining the Career Guide and Career Development Maps and provide career development support to employees

  • Develops an annual training strategy with the identification of requirements and annual budget resources.

Required Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and 7-10 years of experience

  • Ability to create and implement plans for career development, skills assessments, rotations, promotions, certifications and success management.

  • Possess excellent written and oral communication skills, excellent organizational skills, strong interpersonal skills; must be customer focused and detail oriented.

  • Possess strong leadership, problem identification/resolution skills, flexibility, initiative, and the proven ability to work with senior executives efficiently and effectively.

  • Experience interfacing and communicating with senior executive leadership in the government.

  • Possess excellent computer skills in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

  • Awareness of methods used to implement cultural and business process changes.

  • Experience in managing efforts to gather information to synthesize functional needs.

  • Ability to lead studies and assessments, and assist the government in establishing goals and objectives.

  • Experience developing a significant portion of mission and vision statements, policy or requirements statements or documents, or operating concepts.

  • Must be U.S. citizen with current Top Secret security clearance and eligible for SCI access; CI Polygraph is required.

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Direct and current knowledge of the mission, structure, and key Information Technology programs of NGA and the US Security Community

  • Strong critical thinking skills and collaboration skills.

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Typically a bachelor's degree or equivalent and two to 15 years related experience.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Some travel may be required.
