CACI International Site Operations Lead – Mission Operations in Springfield, Virginia
What You’ll Get to Do:
As the Site Operations Lead you will be the Senior on-site company representative responsible to interacting with the Government Operations personnel. You will have responsibility for executing all mission operations to include user engagement, requirement management, task planning, mission processing and dissemination of information to end users. You're responsible for dedicated team of operations personnel manning real time positions of high importance and priority.
More About this Role:
The Site Operations Lead has an operational role for executing the customer’s mission and a leadership and managerial role for 20-30 employees and /or sub-contractors who will be part of the team.
The focus of the Site Operations Lead is mission operations, the Site Operations Lead will develop organizational roles and responsibilities for team members and create a professional environment for mission success
Daily interaction with the customer is expected and will serve to establish a business rhythm based on trust, experience and effective communications.
The Site Operations Lead will have a Deputy Operations Lead to support the execution of the mission and providing effective leadership coverage throughout the year.
Responsible for certifying to the Government customer that Operations personnel are qualified to perform their mission responsibilities and insure that end -end mission success is well understood by the team
You will have hiring authority to establish the right skill mix and experience level to form an effective team and will provide performance assessments throughout the year.
You will be in direct communications with the program manager and will be responsible for execution of the tasks at the assigned site.
Lead will interface with a counterpart in Colorado and effective communications for cohesive operations between sites will be expected.
Develop their staff to be fully cross-trained on all systems and meet the demands of a growing mission area
Iinteract with the program Chief Engineer and support integration activity of new systems and capabilities and provide feedback of operational requirements to system developers.
During IC&T and subsequent Transition to Operations the Site Operations Lead shall make a final recommendation to the Government of a system’s readiness for operations.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors of Science
Experience: 15 years of Leadership in site operations, 2 years’ experience on NRO programs
Required Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, managerial skills, organizational skills, interpersonal skills.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
• Direct operations background in specific systems associated with this operation
• IC and/or DOD user experience
• Technical understanding of RF collection and processing
