CACI International Mechanical Technician in St. Inigoes, Maryland
CACI is seeking a Mechanical Technician for C4ISR Bridge Systems at St.Inigoes, MD.
What You’ll Get to Do:
Provide maintenance on government transportation for High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV), Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) and multiple forklifts and man lifts.
Provide preventative and active mechanical procedures to keep the mobility of division fleet.
Perform metal fabrication, hydraulic motor repair, parts replacement, diesel and gasoline motor troubleshooting.
Create and maintain maintaining activity logs on all equipment, meeting with customers from the Department Of Defense (DOD), military and contractors.
Fabricate, install, test and maintain communications systems for various DOD customers.
Assemble electrical and electronic systems and prototypes according to engineering data and specifications.
Reads and interprets wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, and engineering instructions for assembling, creating and troubleshooting electronic systems while applying knowledge of electrical, electronic and radio frequency (RF) theory.
Collaborates with electrical engineers and other personnel to identify, define, and solve developmental problems Research and review maintenance options for cost estimates.
Maintain daily logs for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Active Secret clearance.
Associate’s degree in electronic or engineering technology and Two years of experience in assembly, construction, testing, repair and modification of electrical, electronic machine or mechanical parts using drawings, specific instructions or standard procedure (OR) High school diploma and Four years of experience in assembly, construction, testing, repair and modification of electrical, electronic machine or mechanical parts using drawings, specific instructions or standard procedure.
Travel may be required.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Background in military vehicle maintenance.
Diesel engine maintenance and repair.
Small engine (gasoline) repair and maintenance.
