CACI International Clerical/General Clerk II in St. Louis, Missouri

Job Description

Responsibilities:

The General Clerk shall provide clerical support.

The General Clerk will be utilized in the USAO Eastern District of Missouri in St. Louis, Missouri. His/Her duties shall include answering phones; distributing in-coming mail; metering outgoing mail; photocopying; faxing documents; delivering items; filing documents; packing boxes in preparation for shipment; prepares documents for imaging and scanning; closing case files. Performs simple typing assignments using word processing equipment. The candidate will be asked to assist with other administrative tasks if the need arises. The General Clerk will work in an office setting; some walking, standing, bending and carrying of small office items is requires. Must posses the ability to lift at least 25 lbs. There may be a need for the candidate to work overtime depending on work and case load.

Required Skills:

Computer Skills: Applicant must have the ability to use MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word or other data bases, Word Perfect and Adobe Acrobat Professional.

Communication skills are extremely important. Works and interacts professionally and effectively with all levels of staff. Ability to meet established deadlines and work as a team player in a professional office. Skill in meeting and dealing with people in a courteous and tactful manner.
