Job Description

We are seeking an Oracle EBS/SCM Sr Functional consultant for the US Marine Corps Oracle R12 based ERP that provides near real-time visibility of retail supply, wholesale supply, equipment maintenance, and repair transactions. The desired candidate will work as an integral part of a team supporting a large DoD program that requires specialization in areas outlined below in the responsibilities and required skills sections.

WHAT YOU’LL GET TO DO:

• As a key client facing representative, sponsors collaborative team environment which promotes staff, sub-contractor, and client partnerships to meet common goals and shared program objectives.• As an experienced consulting professional, advances a business model that endorses the highest level of professional ethics and client affiliations built with trust, integrity, and mutual respect.• The Oracle EBS/SCM consultant is responsible for the analysis, functional design & functional testing of RICE-W in most of the oracle modules, including but not limited to, iProcurement, PO, INV, OM, BOM, AP, AR, PO, GL, & FND• As a Federal EBS and/or SCM domain expert, optimizes client business systems and cross-functional application solutions to meet challenging business, interoperability, and deployment requirements in a Federal environment.• Support all functional activities and follow the processes outlined to be in compliance with approved SDLC.• Review functional Design Documents to understand and gain knowledge about the functionalities of different RICECPW components.• Meet with the incumbent SME and government personnel to gain knowledge to transition from incumbent for different RICECPW components.• Understand and expert in functional configurations of oracle modules, including but not limited to, iProcurement, PO, INV, OM, BOM, AP, AR, PO, GL, or FND• Lead transition knowledge transfer sessions with incumbent and government personnel for different RICECPW components.• Review Change Requests and provide assistance in gathering requirements.• Perform functional testing during the release testing phases.• Work as functional SME of specific Oracle modules which include business processes in functional areas like request management, supply, maintenance, and finance• Gather and document requirements for future initiatives.• Prepare design alternatives and design specification documents.• Drive all meetings with the customer and manage the analysis through design and development phases related to Oracle modules.• As required, provide updates to the deliverables identified for the functional team.• Produce all work products and deliverables with quality and on schedule.

• Responsible for the design & development of RICE-W in most of the oracle modules, including but not limited to, iProcurement, PO, INV, OM, BOM, AP, AR, PO, GL, & FND• Support all technical activities and follow the processes outlined to be in compliance with approved SDLC.• Review Technical Design Documents and code to understand and gain knowledge about the functionalities of different RICECPW components.• Meet with the incumbent SME and government personnel to gain knowledge to transition from incumbent for different RICECPW components.• Lead transition knowledge transfer sessions with incumbent and government personnel for different RICECPW components.• Review Change Requests and provide assistance in gathering requirements.• Tune and optimize packages, stored procedures, PL SQL, and application in an Oracle 12c RDBMS environment.• Provide technical support during the release testing phases.• Provide detailed deployment instructions for successful migration/backout of code.• Prepare design alternatives and design specification documents.• Drive all meetings with the customer and manage the analysis through design and development phases related to Oracle modules.• As required, provide updates to the deliverables identified for the development team.• Produce all work products and deliverables with quality and on schedule.

REQUIRED:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience.• Experience in Oracle EBS SCM applications R12/R11• Strong functional knowledge of oracle modules, including but not limited to, AP, AR, PO, GL, FV, FND, FA, & iProcurement• Strong understanding of application configuration• Strong understanding of federal business processes in areas like request management, supply, maintenance, and finance.

• Familiar with Oracle EBS and/or SCM base tables• Demonstrated knowledge of industry best practices and exposure to multiple project management methodologies and tools including direct hands-on experience with Oracle AIM Methodology and approach including thorough knowledge of BR.100, MD.050, TE.020, TE.040, and TE.120 documentation.• Superior written and oral communication skills with a focus on delivering executive level presentations.• Excellent written and oral communication skills• Work as part of a team and provide 24x7 support when required• Ability to be hands-on in this role to develop professional documentation and other written materials• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Ability to adapt to changing business processes, technologies, and environments.

• Marine Corps experience a plus• Need the ability to obtain an interim Secret Clearance
