Army CReATE focuses on enabling development teams from across Army to utilize both unclassified and classified development resources as part of a build low, deliver high approach. As a result, you would be part of the team building these resources on the unclassified cloud, giving the ability to work remotely during this unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic.

Participate in a responsive team where communication skills and the ability to solve problems are critical to our success
Develop a unique product that supports a robust DevSecOps tool set
Regularly deliver new updates in the Self-Service custom tool
Integrate new 3rd party tools to expand usability across an expanding product line
Innovate new developer supported features that enable better usability
Introduce improvements and clarity into the developer experience
Use proven design patterns, innovative approaches and design thinking to build intuitive UIs that are a joy to use
Provide web user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) expertise in support of new application development and application transformation
Support the entire product lifecycle to include systems engineering and requirement analysis, technical design, system integration, implementation and deployment
Work directly with end users and stakeholders, translating customer needs into deployed software capabilities

Education: Candidate must have one of the following with direct experience leading IT system work involving virtualization, cloud services engineering, micro service architecture, web applications, systems integration, and related software development:
5-7 Years of job related experience with BS
3-5 Years of job related experience with MS
Experience Required Skills:
Familiarity with database administration like DynamoDB, MongoDB, AWS RDS.
Software development experience in one or more software languages including Ruby, Python, Groovy, Java, Javascript, NodeJS, Go, C, C++
Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Digital Design, Human Factors Engineering or a related technical field or equivalent and experience working with a balanced product team.
Minimum of 3 years experience in Full-Stack and/or UI/UX design or related technical fields
Education and Experience equivalents are considered on a case-by-case basis
A willingness to learn and the ability to translate and prioritize user requests and requirements and balance with stakeholder needs
CompTIA Security+ certification or equivalent IAT Lv2/3 certificate aligning with DoD 8570 requirements
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Excellent technical acumen and self-motivated with creativity to tackle hard-to-solve problems
Ability to work independently and within a distributed team environment
Strong interpersonal, teamwork, problem solving, organizational and multi-tasking skills
Comfortable working with a diverse set of contractors and customer personnel
Strong understanding of UI/UX best practices
Cross-browser development expertise
Understanding of agile development practices, including Agile Scrum
Experience with configuration management processes and tools
Knowledge of Intelligence Community (IC) processes, policies, and guidance
Knowledge of Intelligence DoD processes, policies and guidance
Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment within a distributed team
Experience developing and delivering software on Amazon Web Services (AWS) or similar cloud services
CI/CD pipeline experience using GitLab or Jenkins
Experience with Git and configuration management processes.
Experience with automated test tools and frameworks, e.g. Inspec, Selenium, Cucumber, Junit.
Experience with container technology (e.g. Docker) development and deployment
