CACI seeks a Jr. Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Engineer to join our Advanced Solutions Group, within the National Security and Innovative Solutions Sector. This opportunity offers very rewarding and unique benefits, which equates to 50% of compensation on TOP of your base salary! The first part is a tax-qualified profit-sharing retirement plan, to which CACI annually contributes up to 25% of your base salary (not in excess of applicable IRS limits) to your retirement account. The second component consists of an Individual Benefit Account (IBA), which is used for premiums, medical reimbursements, dependent care, education and Paid Time Off (PTO) policy. Both components of the benefit package are paid for by CACI, in addition to your base salary and potential performance bonuses. What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Work with a team of highly skilled professionals

  • Design, develop, integrate and test software to go into the DSP baseline

  • Help define the requirements, CONOPs and architecture for future systems

  • Support field testing of the equipment being developed

  • Use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks

  • Provide support for the full software lifecycle to include requirements definition, design, implementation, algorithm development, and verification and maintenance of computing environment

  • Exposure to all phases of product development

  • Implementation of system capabilities

  • Support design reviews as part of a system engineering team

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science or related field

  • A background in digital signal processing (DSP) and communication theory

  • Some related experience in relevant engineering disciplines (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science)

  • Experience programming in either Python, Java, C++, or any object- oriented or functional language

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Linux software development experience

  • Understanding of software defined radio systems (receiver architectures, software channelization, modulation/demodulation techniques, spectral analysis)

  • Experience with X-Midas in the development of RF transmission and receiver systems or software defined radio

  • Experience processing signals using Matlab, Octave, or another software tool suite

  • Experience with telemetry systems

  • Knowledge and experience of processing signals including error correcting codes and digital video formats

  • Knowledge and experience with target tracking systems

  • Knowledge and experience performing machine learning techniques

  • Experience in design, development, or testing of weapons systems

  • Development of link budgets, range estimates, and system sensitivity assessments
