Opportunity to work on small innovative teams on mission critical software applications. Provide software design and development expertise in support of both new application development tasks and maintenance of current baseline. Developers are expected to have excellent technical expertise and be highly self-directed and motivated. CACI is is looking for a Java Developer to provide solutions for new development efforts and to sustain an existing operational baseline at the Dulles, VA (Headquarters) or Aurora, CO office. Candidates are expected to have excellent communication and oral skills, development process experience, and work well in a small team environment. Candidates should be familiar with development and configuration management practices and have previous development experience.
The Developer will participate in new development through the requirements analysis and design phases. The Developer will provide a technical solution compliant with the design and maintain the operational baseline.
Additionally, the Developer will provide support to test, integration, and deployment of the software baseline. Candidates must be self-motivated individuals who can understand technical concepts, have excellent communication skills, and are able to collaborate on technical items with the larger team.
This opportunity offers very rewarding and unique benefits, which equates to 50% of compensation on TOP of your base salary! The first part is a tax-qualified profit-sharing retirement plan, to which CACI annually contributes up to 25% of your base salary (not in excess of applicable IRS limits) to your retirement account. You'll be responsible for:
Researching, designing and developing software
Develop solutions against program architecture
Produce detailed specifications and write software code
Work closely with system engineers, and SMEs to understand functional requirements
Create unit tests and integration test while supporting formal testing
Provide input into training manuals for users
Maintain knowledge of feature and technical changes in the application
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 1-3 years of related software development experience
Experience with JMS, JDBC
Experience with Web services such as SOAP, REST
Knowledge of Unix / Linux operating systems
Software configuration management processes and tools
An active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required to start
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Experience with relational, PostgreSQL, and file based storage products
Ability to write interfaces and conversion routines leveraging the API
Experience with Spring Boot
Web Services knowledge
Ability to work with Solar, Apache
Experience with Angular/JS
Understanding of Amazon Web Services
Experience with mission management/planning systems
Knowledge of Intelligence Community (IC) processes, policies and guidance

Pay Range: The proposed salary range for this position is $49,400-$98,900. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
