This position will be responsible for implementing, deploying, and maintaining Red Hat Linux operating systems across a variety of hardware solutions and operational platforms. If you are a motivated individual looking to be a part of critical mission, CACI would like to speak with you.
This opportunity offers very rewarding and unique benefits, which equates to 50% of compensation on TOP of your base salary! The first part is a tax-qualified profit-sharing retirement plan, to which CACI annually contributes up to 25% of your base salary (not in excess of applicable IRS limits) to your retirement account. The second component consists of an Individual Benefit Account (IBA), which is used for premiums, medical reimbursements, dependent care, education and Paid Time Off (PTO) policy. Both components of the benefit package are paid for by CACI, in addition to your base salary and potential performance bonuses. What You’ll Get to Do:
Provisioning RHEL on a variety of hardware solutions
Configure peripheral appliances
Performing periodic, non-CMable maintenance tasks like RAID rebuilding, storage cleanup, etc
Provide data transfer solutions
Maintaining Ops workstations
Owning/Administering a standalone network dedicated to testing operational software
Provide virtualization support
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering or a related STEM field and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience, or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience
Minimum of 4 years’ experience managing Linux or Unix based environments
An active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is required to begin employment
Extensive LINUX experience
A deep understanding of networking (Layer 3/Layer 4)
Experience with Virtualization tech; prefer Ovirt experience
Experience with Docker or other containerization technology
Cisco administration experience
Puppet, Ansible, or Chef familiarity
Linux (RHEL, CentOS) system administration
Linux shell scripting skills
Linux VMs running in a virtualization environment (VMWare, VirtualBox, Hyper-V)
Scripting languages (python, perl, bash, ruby)
