Job Description:

Then you might be interested in a role where you can use your Linux, hardware, and networking experience to help build cutting-edge integrated digital signal processing systems. Your skills will be put to work in an Agile environment to help support our customers’ Electronic Warfare mission.

What you’ll get to do:

• Work closely with Digital Signal Processing engineers to build, deploy, and troubleshoot signal processing applications

• Work with hardware engineers to integrate and test new hardware and firmware systems and configurations

• Take ownership of system configuration management, maintain software baselines, and prepare software and hardware releases

• Leverage your Linux experience to propose and implement operating system configurations and optimizations

• Troubleshoot and optimize system communications leveraging TCP and UDP for unicast and multicast messaging

• Contribute to an extensive baseline of frontend and backend software suites written in python and C+Required qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field

• Linux (Red Hat) administration and configuration expertise

• Knowledge of networking, routing, and firewalls

• Familiar with hardware interfaces and protocols

• Experience writing and maintaining scripts written in at least one of bash, python

Desired qualifications:

• DoD 8570.1 certification (Security+, CISSP,etc)

• Knowledge of building, managing, and orchestrating containerized applications (docker, podman, etc)

• Experience working in Continuous Integration environments

• Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, puppet,etc)

• Familiarity with security requirements for classified environments

• Exposure writing and testing code for large software application stacks
