What You’ll Get to Do:
Participate in new development and design for modular software architecture.
Work as part of a larger team consisting of software and hardware developers and be responsible for a wide variety of systems engineering tasks.
Adapt and develop a modular and open software architecture to host digital signal processing software applications.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Security Clearance: Current TS/SCI with Poly.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
8-10 years of systems engineering experience.
2-4 years of system testing.
2-4 years of writing system tests and formal test procedures.
Experience with RedHat Linux.
Experience in defining/writing/analyzing system requirements.
Experience in formulating and writing system documents, to include CONOPS, data flows, integration, SSP contributions, and user guides.
Ability to coordinate use case testing with a team of users and translate findings effectively to developers.
Ability to communicate effectively with team and translate technical knowledge into effective technical writing for non-technical end users.
Experience preparing for and leading customer control gates such as Preliminary/Critical Design Reviews, System Requirement Reviews, Pre-Ship Review, and on-site in briefings.
Experience performing functional requirements decomposition, traceability, and management.
Experience leading a team and mentoring junior engineers.
Knowledge of Intelligence Community (IC) processes, policies, and guidance.
Perform traditional System Engineering tasks (requirement creation/management, create and maintain technical documentation, lead technical discussions, etc.).
Ability to assist the development team with software integration activities.
Able to work independently.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Experience with scripting (bash, perl, python, ...)
Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
Familiarity with Agile methodologies (scrum, SAFe, Lean)
Light knowledge of Java/ C++ /Web/java scripting
Experience with digital signal processing hardware and software
Working knowledge of RF collection systems
Linux experience highly desired
Experience leading an organization through a modernization effort
Strong leadership skills
Proficiency in using and configuring Jira
Knowledge of and experience with software configuration management
