CACI is seeking a Front-End Software Engineer in our Sterling, Virginia or Aurora, Colorado.

What You’ll Get to Do:

The person will work with a team of software and systems engineers, along with mission users to create containerized user interfaces, microservices and data stores for a comprehensive system solution.

More About the Role:

You will guide the development of new functionality for a new system, from the requirements analysis and design phases, through development, integration, test, and deployment. Candidates must be self-motivated individuals who can understand technical concepts, clearly communicate them to a varying range of audiences/understanding levels and collaborate on technical direction with the development team. Some virtual work options may be available.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 5+ years of related experience supporting projects of similar scope and complexity

  • Current TS/SCI with CI poly

  • Security+ certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months of starting)

  • Experience in rapid, agile development efforts

  • Experience developing softbware with HTML/CSS and JavaScript

  • Experience developing software with a major JavaScript framework (Vue, React, Angular, etc.)

  • Experience developing in a Linux environment

  • Experience designing and utilizing REST APIs

  • Knowledge and interest in UX best practices to create both attractive and efficient user interfaces

  • Knowledge of Intelligence Community (IC) processes, policies, and guidance

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Experience using Vue3, Tailwind CSS, Golden-layout, Map technologies and services: Leaflet, Cesium

  • Experience using Git for source code management, unit testing practices and libraries

  • Experience with container and orchestration technologies, including Docker/Podman, Kubernetes, and Helm

  • ICD 503 testing and accreditation process

  • Experience working with and transitioning legacy baselines

  • Background working with mission management systems

  • Experience working with Small Sats

Pay Range: The proposed salary range for this position is $86,200-$176,600. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
