CACI/BITS is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the eXensible Mission Management (XMM) team. If you’re looking for a team with a collaborative and engaging team culture, a place to apply your critical thinking skills all while supporting unique missions, then come join our XMM team!
We are a small, innovative team using modern software development with Agile and DevSecOps processes and tools. You’ll work closely with leads and software developers to design, build, and deploy a mission critical, cloud-native software application from the ground up. You will utilize your engineering skills and background knowledge to influence the software development process. You will be responsible for guiding from the technical planning, design, systems integration, verification and validation through operations.
What You’ll Get to Do:
The program uses a robust Continuous Integration & Deployment pipeline to deploy containerized microservices to the cloud and on-premise environments to support execution of mission critical functions.
The program uses agile planning principles to collaboratively and efficiently deliver capabilities that are required by our customers.

More About the Role:
Provide lifecycle systems engineering, including system design, test, integration, and deployment.
Participate in new development starting with requirements analysis and design.
Must be self-motivated individuals who can understand technical concepts, have excellent communication skills, and be able and willing to collaborate on technical items with the larger team.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and minimum of 3-5 years of related experience.
Understanding of software and systems engineering principles
Familiarity with Agile processes
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Experience with software configuration management processes and tools
Understanding of Amazon Web Services or container-based applications
Experience designing interfaces
Knowledge of Intelligence Community (IC) processes, policies and guidance
SIGINT mission experience
Security+ or CISSP certified
