What You’ll Get to Do:
CACI is hiring a Tester and Documentation Specialist to join our team! This role is in support of the DHS CDM Program. Our mission is to safeguard and secure cyberspace in an environment where the threat of cyber-attack is continuously growing and evolving. The CDM Program defends the United States Federal Information Technology networks from cybersecurity threats by providing continuous monitoring sensors (tools), diagnosis, mitigation tools, and associated services to strengthen the security posture of Government networks.
More About the Role:
In this role, you'll prepare and update Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP) as part of the Technology Management Plan
Provide test plans and test result system integration and activities
Provide support to an independent organization conducting Independent Verification & Validation (IV&V) testing of the infrastructure and develop Plans of Action & Milestones (POA&Ms) to address critical findings
Perform test and evaluation of infrastructure components
Additionally, the Testing and IV&V Support Manager will be responsible for the following:
Modify, update, and/or develop DHS Component Draft and Final Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMP’s)
Influence and/or educate non-testing personnel regarding testing policies, practices and procedures
Establish and maintain consistency between CDM Program TEMP and DHS Component Draft and Final TEMP’s
Integrate directly with DHS Agency Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) staff including Government employees and potentially other contractors
If required, maintain adherence to Joint Operating Agreements (JOA) with other contractor IV&V staff
Support Request for Service (RFS) Test for SDR, SRR, and PRR SELC phase gates
Assist Test Lab Manager in disseminating proper Network Maintenance Alerts (NMA) for all test events
Wherever possible, assist Test Lab Manager in maintaining continuous test lab availability throughout all phases of Developmental and Operational Test and Evaluation DT&E/OT&E
Wherever possible, assist Test Lab Manager in maintaining continuous Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) throughout all phase of Developmental and Operation test & evaluation
Communicates with parties within and outside of own job function, which may include external customers or vendors depending upon the job function.
Interface directly with other CACI and DHS technical and programmatic staff to facilitate testing
Interface directly with Security Authorization Support Manager, Test Lab Manager, and CDM advocates to de-conflict scheduled testing and Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities.
Wherever possible, assist Test Lab Manager in maintaining test environment
Wherever possible, assist Test Lab Manager in availability and hygiene of testing enclaves
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Expert level understanding of Developmental, Operational, and Security Test and Evaluation procedures.
Ability to understand Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP) development, as well as test case & test step development
In-Depth understanding of Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP), Test Case, and Detailed Test Step development
Strong Understanding of Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and ideally the DHS Systems Engineering Lifecycle (SELC) as it relates to Developmental, Operational, and Security Test and Evaluation.
Strong understanding of Developmental, Operational, Security, Agile, and Regression Testing and Evaluation procedures.

Testing certifications preferable (but not required), e.g.:
ASTQB Certified Mobile Tester
ISTQB Agile Tester Extension
ISTQB Advanced Level Software Testing Certification
CP-BAT Certified Professional – Basic Agile Testing
CP-AAT Certified Professional – Automation Agile Testing
CP-MAT Certified Professional – Master Agile Testing
Relevant DHS or .gov Cyber Security focused experience
Technical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 3 years of related work experience.
Ability to obtain Security Clearance
