What You’ll Get to Do:
Perform comprehensive security assessments using the DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP).
Developing IT system security documentation as required by both the DIACAP and Risk Management Framework (RMF).
Assist with the developing and maintaining Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M).
Responsible for documentation review; reading over policy and procedures; system and network diagrams, descriptions, SOPs, certification and accreditation documents; compiling and generating deliverables.
Assist with Security Tests and Evaluation.
Analyzing ST&E results; assess, determine, and describe risks associated with the results.
Understanding of DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
More About the Role:
Responsible for providing information assurance for digital information, ensuring its confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
Responsibilities include documentation and testing procedures required for the granting of an ATO.
Assist with the monitoring and testing of IT systems for vulnerabilities and indicia of compromise, incident response and remediation, the development of appropriate policy, relevant user security awareness and training, and compliance with applicable government and other external standards.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Active Secret Clearance
Requires broad technical job knowledge typically obtained through advanced education.
Bachelor’s degree, from a nationally accredited university in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Assurance or related field.
Minimum of 3 years experience in Information Assurance and working RMF packages.
