What You’ll Get to Do:

This position is in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) CONUS based organization.

The successful candidate must be able to communicate clearly and succinctly both written and orally, and present products and ideas in a business-like manner. The candidate will be required to work in dynamic fast paced environments that require team interaction and coordination of efforts along with the ability to operate individually across a wide range of systems, networking, and communications issues.

Ensure the resolution and tracking of incidents. Preform Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of computers and related equipment. Provide management of client workstation configuration including operating systems, COTS, GOTS and in-house applications. Perform intense troubleshooting and problem resolution across multiple locations and networks. Support both classified and unclassified networks. Modifies group membership, user profiles, utilizes SCCM and Active Directory to troubleshoot. Administer and manage Windows Servers and VMWare/virtual environment administration.

Ability to make modifications/alterations to Windows image. Ability to make android application software changes. Ability to administer machines across an enterprise with best practice security implementations, maintenance and LCR.

The successful candidate must be a self-starter with a working experience of inventory procedures and accurate configuration management information. The successful candidate must possess the ability to understand SOF unique requirements and tailor the configurations of systems and/or devices to meet needs of SOF operations while remaining within the appropriate regulations and guidelines.


  • Top Secret/SCI Clearance

  • Security + Certification

  • 2 -5 years of experience administering and maintaining network, video, servers, workstations, and peripheral hardware and related software.

  • Experience w/ MS Windows 7, 8 & 10 Operating System/Mac OS

  • Proficient in configuration and management of mobile devices, such as tablets and phones (Android/iOS)

  • Experience w/ Open Source Operating Systems: Linux/Unix

  • Experience w/ Microsoft Office / Outlook 2010, 2013, 2016

  • Experience with a multitude of personal computers, terminal, peripheral equipment and associated software repair, installation, configuration and system operation

  • Experience w/ management and administration of different virtual computing software or hypervisors (VMWare) and administration of Windows Server OS/platforms

  • Good communication skills; shows tact, effective listening skills and follow through

  • Provides technical guidance and leadership to engineers and technicians with less experience.

  • Demonstrated experience with Tier-2 desktop customer support


  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA)

  • Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS)
