What You’ll Get to Do:

  • CACI is seeking a Supply Technician who will be responsible for organizing and implementing a variety of responsibilities related to the flow of materials, products, services and associated systems information at the APY (Amphibious Planning Yard)

  • The work generally involves individual case problems or supply actions.

  • This work may require consideration of program requirements, together with specific variations in or from standardized guidelines.

  • Assignments require (a) a good working knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines; (b) an understanding of the needs of the organization serviced; and (c) analytical ability to define or recognize the dimension of the problems involved, to collect the necessary data, to establish the facts, and to take or recommend action based upon application or interpretation of established guidelines.

More About the Role:

Performance of logistics functions including system fault analysis, life cycle maintenance and integrated product support (IPS) of major systems.

  • Monitors, analyzes, and evaluates Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), metrics, and other process performance data to ensure process area is meeting its performance targets and identifies trends.

  • Assists Enterprise Business Systems (EBS) end users by providing guidance for interpreting and applying enterprise-wide Order Fulfillment processes and procedures.

  • Resolves Intermediate Document (IDOC) issues.

  • Plans, schedules, and routes imports and exports, including monitoring the flow of traffic to/from international destinations, ensuring related customer service, brokerage, and customs transaction compliance. Assesses and maintains compliance with federal and foreign regulations governing the shipment, receipt, and documentation of imported/exported products.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • High school, trade or industrial school, or correspondence school

  • A minimum of 2-years of experience in the Navy Supply System

  • Must have a general knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, and other established guidelines

  • Experience must include HM&E Provisioning Technical Documentation (PTD) as it relates to CSA, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMS) and Suppliers
