CACI International System Installation Technician in United Arab Emirates
CACI is seeking a Systems Installation Technician to support our customer in Southwest Asia; position will be based at one of six (6) OCONUS bases.
What You’ll Get to Do:
Responsible for providing customer support through the performance of on-site installation and sustainment.
Advise the Installation Technical Manager on all aspects of the planned and ongoing installations.
Assist the Technical Manager interpreting customers' needs, defines defining next steps, and clarifying the assignment of responsibility for problem resolution as needed.
Provide hands on installation expertise inside and outside of buildings for terminating power, optical fiber, and network communication needs.
Provide installation know-how to build out from power source to control building.
Provide installation know-how to build-out communication and data channels from various sensors to building and to internal control panels.
Position description includes any aspect of field installation support and is not limited to system hardware, software, network, and other technical infrastructure components.
Possesses a high school degree or equivalent.
Possesses a minimum of eight (8) years of experience in construction to include installation of power, data channels, and communications links.
An understanding of construction designs (such as blueprints, schematics, etc) for power, communications, and data (such as fiber).
Must have Active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
100% TDY at customer site locations.
Basic understanding of USAF Security Forces guidelines and regulations (AFI 31-101 and ESS Equipment Siting Guide.
Certifications in various construction standards.
