If yes, this may be your next career opportunity!.More About the Role:As an Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for providing non-personal administrative support services to a Senior leader, and other Federal staff. As part of your responsibilities, you will

  • maintain assigned Outlook calendars, assist with scheduling, travel arrangements, meeting coordination (including capturing meeting minutes), ordering office supplies, monitoring email correspondence, and greeting all visitors;

  • monitor due dates, as well as coordinate, and assist in completing official correspondence and documents for signature, including letters, notices, instructions, and memoranda;

  • provide support on assigned reports and performance evaluations;

  • answer phone calls and refer the calls to the appropriate individuals within the office;

  • assist in completing and track/follow-up on assigned Action Packages and Division documents in routing;

  • maintain calendars, documents, links, libraries, announcements, lists and contacts; and

  • (when required) work with Federal staff on scheduling/setting up various training sessions, personnel discussions, awards ceremonies, and other types of required events.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Five (5) years of combined experience to include college level coursework, administrative training, executive level support, personnel, scheduling, task management, planning, programming, and forecasting, and correspondence;

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and SharePoint;

  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and demonstrate clear judgment and independent decision-making capabilities;

  • Outstanding English writing skills and the ability to quickly deliver quality written products in constrained time periods;

  • Strong active listening skills to assess customer needs and satisfaction;

  • Outstanding customer service skills, experience in managing customer expectations, and working directly with customers; and

  • Ability to multi-task across multiple projects, and work independently to complete tasks with conceptual guidance..

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university; and

  • Executive level support experience. Experience within one or more Federal agencies.
