What You’ll Get to Do:
Provide data collection and analysis to support the U.S. Navy Aircraft Carriers Network Cybersecurity Working Group (CNCWG) in developing, interpreting, and implementing cybersecurity policies, procedures, and guidelines for control systems installed on CVN 68/78 Class Aircraft Carriers.
More About the Role:
Primary responsibilities include working with all Carrier (CVN) stakeholders to constantly identify shortfalls and status in all matters pertaining to CVN cybersecurity and network health. Standardize data collection. Assist Cyber PAPM in assessment of cybersecurity and network health status tools. Work with Enclave Managers to update the 68 & 78 class Shipboard System Matrices quarterly. Establish and maintain a holistic inventory of all Portable Electric Devices (i.e. maintenance laptops, RDT&E assets, etc.) via the PED matrix that are either delivered to the platform or are kept shore-side but are meant to interface with shipboard systems.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Degree from accredited University or CNSSI 4012 or NDU CISO certificate or NDU CIO certificate or AQD GA8. or successful completion of military training course: NEC 2779 (CIN: A-531-0009) or 3372 or (EKMS Manager CIN W-3B-1500 ) or A-4C-1340 (KMI) (or DOD Service equivalent)
3-5 years of experience in Information Systems Security Management, data analysis, and/or project management skills
Ability to use Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:
Cybersecurity experience is a plus
Navy acquisition experience on an ACAT 1 Program is a plus
Aircraft Carrier experience is a plus
