The JABS project is currently seeking a Budget/Financial Analyst in support of the Department of Justice . As a qualified candidate you will have a combination of strong communication and analytical skills and experience in government Reimbursable Agreements, procurement, and budgeting. The ideal candidate will be an experienced financial analyst with strong knowledge of the federal Reimbursable Agreements, procurement, and Department of Justice budget processes.
What You’ll Get to Do:
As part of the team, you will be responsible of the creation, distribution, and follow up to completion of Reimbursable Agreements between the customer and other agencies consuming services provided by the customer. This position will interface with over 100 agencies on an annual basis in the performance of this work. The secondary responsibilities of this position assisting in the pricing model development that establishes the cost of each of the three services for all consuming agencies, as well assistance in budget management and procurements, labor tracking, and invoice processing.
More About the Role:
You will have additional responsibilities such as:
Prepare DOJ Reimbursable Agreements documents, submit the documents to customer agencies, and follow the documents through the process to ensure acceptance and signature
Track the progress of the RA distribution and completion
Provide weekly metrics
Routinely report status to government and CACI management
Effectively communicate plans to team members and management
Escalate issues as needed to ensure timely completion
Support the annual generation of pricing models for each of the three services
Support the tracking of multiple budgets with monthly actual and forecasted values to ensure the budget line items are on target and/or any potential budget overruns are identified early for management action
Manage personal tasks and coordinate assigned project work and activities
Update, implement and maintain procedures and SOPs
Seek management assistance to prioritize initiatives based on business needs and requirements as needed
Ensure timely completion of assignments
Work in a Hybrid Remote Environment
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 6 years’ experience or Master’s degree and 4 year experience
At least 5 years of experience with financial/administrative reporting
At least 5 years of experiencetracking program requirements and cost performance against plans to ensure contractual cost obligations are met
Comfortable communicating with a number of agencies and senior leadership
At least 3 years of experience with budget management
Well versed in procurement, labor tracking, and invoice processing
Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
Ability to perform data research and validate data entries against applicable policies
Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
Ability to complete emergent tasks while maintaining current assignments
Possess skills in data analysis, budget analysis, and problem solving with the ability to summarize information in concise reports for utilization in presentations
Excellent Customer Interface skills
IT equipment knowledge
