CACI International Business Analyst Summer Intern in Washington, District Of Columbia

Job Description

CACI is seeking a Business Analyst Summer Intern to support the Navy’s Littoral Combat Ship Program in Washington, D.C. If you are a rising junior or senior, enrolled in an accredited university/college pursuing bachelor’s degree with an interest in the U.S. Navy, Programming or Data Analytics and have the the ability to obtain a DOD Secret Security Clearance then we would like to speak with you.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Work supporting the Navy’s Littoral Combat Ship Program. LCS is a fast, agile, mission-focused- platform designed for operation in near-shore environments yet capable of open-ocean operation. It is designed to defeat asymmetric "anti-access" threats such as mines, quiet diesel submarines and fast surface craft.

  • Evaluate business products and processes for automation opportunities to increase client efficiency or solve client challenges

  • Audit records for discrepancies or deficiencies

  • Analyze sources – (databases, reports, briefings, and white papers) to extract relevant information

  • Develop software applications, reports and briefings

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a DOD Secret Security Clearance

  • Must be a rising junior or senior, enrolled in an accredited university/college pursuing bachelor’s degree

  • Interest in the Navy, Programming or Data Analytics

  • Excellent analytical, written and oral communication skills

  • Experience with MS Office Products (Primarily Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

  • Familiarity with Visual Basic for Applications

  • Flexibility and ability to deal with ambiguity

  • Organization and strong attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently or within a team environment

  • Comfortable with taking the initiative and determining the best path forward given multiple valid approaches
