CACI is seeking a Business Process Consultant to work as part of an integrated team to lead growth and change for the Naval Sustainment Systems – Shipyards (NSS-SY), focused on organizational change supporting NAVSEA 04T Industrial Operations Transformation at NAVSEA headquarters located in Washington, DC. The candidate in this role will analyze, develop, and lead process improvement and transformation for large naval installations. Specifically, this role will focus on a strategic level value stream assessment of naval maintenance processes including logistics and supply chain effectiveness. This entails development of strategic partnerships with military flag level leadership, government, CACI and sub-contractors, advising and supporting process health assessment and improvement initiatives to reach future state objectives. This requires onsite presence at the Washington Navy Yard to support a dynamic and fast-moving team of innovators by providing strategic leadership support.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Conduct analysis of complex systems value stream, supply chain and logistics processes to provide new insights and identify data points for deep-dive analysis.

  • Apply proven methodologies consistent with industry best practices to assess value stream, process inputs and outcomes.

  • Recommend and provide analytical support for projects, new process improvement opportunities and proposals to drive strategic decisions to achieve on-time delivery.

  • Facilitate meetings, develop process documentation, design key performance indicators, and develop/recommend alternative solutions for improvement.

  • Foster an open exchange of ideas and best management practices; build business acumen and relationships; and enhance the professional knowledge, skills, and abilities at all levels of the Command.

  • Support, coordinate and manage customer expectations in preparation of documentation, deliverables, and staff assignments, as required.

  • Deliver regular status and findings reports capturing the actions, progress, and way-forward recommendations.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Active security clearance.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Process Improvement, or related field.

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience working in enterprise resource planning, business logistics and/or supply chain analysis implementing process improvements.

  • Experience in a senior business process consulting/analysis role, ideally supporting a large organization with a broad portfolio in industrial operations and/or commercial manufacturing industry.

  • Knowledge of naval or shipyard environment, maintenance, logistics processes, and/or prior military or government experience.

  • Strong business analysis background and experience using sound judgement and data to make recommendations for process improvement.

  • Demonstrated administrative, project management, communication, and facilitation skills.

  • Proficiency in the preparation, selection, organization, and presentation of information in a concise and coherent manner.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Advanced degree(s) in business, or another relevant field.

  • Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

  • Training and/or certifications in supply chain management or logistics (e.g., CSCP, CPL, or CPSM).

  • Acquisition life cycle logistics certifications for Major Capability Acquisition to include formal DAWIA credentials and coursework with Defense Acquisition University (DAU).

  • Training, experience, and/or certification in Lean, Six Sigma, Shingo, or Theory of Constraints
