What You’ll Get to Do:
Provides Cyber Security Engineering for Littoral Combat Ships.
More About the Role:
Provide analytic and engineering services to include writing technical acquisition documentation, independent assessment of sensor and weapon performance, test planning/evaluation, CONOPS development and evaluation, system and architecture trade studies and end-to-end effectiveness assessments.
Provide Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) analysis to include open architecture model development and assist in the development of program information and documentation to identify technical parameters and thresholds.
Analyze system functionality and requirements development.
Validate requirements traceability for operational requirements, performance requirements, Measures of Performance (MOPs) and Measures of Effectiveness (MOEs).
Perform risk analyses and assessments of proposed alternatives.
Conduct independent system engineering analyses to identify and recommend resolutions to emergent issues.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience in engineering, marine engineering/naval architecture/mechanical/computer or electrical engineering.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering or Scientific Discipline or an additional 3 years of experience in Engineering without a degree.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
US Citizenship.
Active DoD Secret Clearance.
Interest in National Security and a desire to grow professionally and learn new skills.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Experience with the Department of Defense. Experience with Shipyard, US Navy, NAVSEA support. Experience in VBA or equivalent coding skills.
