What You’ll Get to Do:

Provides Cyber Security Engineering for Littoral Combat Ships.

More About the Role:

  • Provide analytic and engineering services to include writing technical acquisition documentation, independent assessment of sensor and weapon performance, test planning/evaluation, CONOPS development and evaluation, system and architecture trade studies and end-to-end effectiveness assessments.

  • Provide Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) analysis to include open architecture model development and assist in the development of program information and documentation to identify technical parameters and thresholds.

  • Analyze system functionality and requirements development.

  • Validate requirements traceability for operational requirements, performance requirements, Measures of Performance (MOPs) and Measures of Effectiveness (MOEs).

  • Perform risk analyses and assessments of proposed alternatives.

  • Conduct independent system engineering analyses to identify and recommend resolutions to emergent issues.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in engineering, marine engineering/naval architecture/mechanical/computer or electrical engineering.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering or Scientific Discipline or an additional 3 years of experience in Engineering without a degree.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • US Citizenship.

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance.

  • Interest in National Security and a desire to grow professionally and learn new skills.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

Experience with the Department of Defense. Experience with Shipyard, US Navy, NAVSEA support. Experience in VBA or equivalent coding skills.
